My bestfriend’s finally 620 years old!
Happy birthday June! I’m so glad that I met you cause otherwise I’d be missing a travel/ pig-out/ movie/ shopping/ study/ gossip/ exercise buddy and most of all I wouldn’t have a sister from another mother. Only about 3 more weeks to endless meet ups for the next 2 months. Meanwhile enjoy your birthday and your upcoming trip okay! ❤️😁
I am so, so, so, so (x100) thankful I passed all my subjects this semester.
After 1 year away from all the textbooks, it was pretty tough adapting back to the routine of having to sit in lectures and attending tutorials and all. During exam period, I was so close to giving up and telling my parents that I wanted to quit school and just head back to Singapore and start working.
It was tough, not having your family around to support you. Especially my mom who always made sure we were well nourished during the exam period and my dad who always drove me to school then so that I could rest for a few more minutes without having to worry about missing my stop. It was even worse when I didn’t have my usual study buddies (aka Aaron and June) for me to study with anymore.
I am still so thankful that even 6,057km away from home, everyone was still so supportive. Especially mummy who knew that I was really stressed over schoolwork and started disturbing me over whatsapp with all her random nonsense, other friends who constantly told me that I could do it, and even June and Sarah who oovoo-ed me nearly every single night during Swotvac just to keep me awake.
I may not have done the best this time round, but I will keep trying harder and hopefully I’ll do even better next sem. With God’s grace, anything is possible. :)
Tom yam soup for today’s early dinner because I was hungry and freezing. My brain cells probably got frozen at 5.45am when I walked out of the apartment without a jacket on (because someone set off the fire alarm 😒) and I decided to go to Habourtown without bringing a jacket. Genius eh? (at Harbour Town Shopping Centre)
